Thanks!
My LQ9 w/GMPP "Hot Cam" fired up and sounds incredible. (Yah, yah, I'll get past the open header stage and get a real exhaust system with a muffler soon enough.) I just wanted to say thanks to the Conversions & Hybrids forum for having been there and done that, so I could learn from your mistakes and successes.
I "get it" that there is a long way to go before it's finished, but hitting the starter and having it fire within 90° of flywheel spin is fun.
While you may have been unwitting accomplices, I couldn't have done it without you; thanks!
OK, enough of the foreplay, time to get back to work.
PS...
Special thanks to Jim's Performance, SDPD, and Schram's Auto Parts for being high integrity suppliers in a caveat emptor world.

Cool post, I'm glad you put it up here - I just pulled the hood off of my car tonight, getting ready to "dig in" & start my own swap pretty soon.
