Im really digging that. I almost went with ladder bars but I liked the fact that I could shorten the 4 link down to where I need it. Hurt my adjustability but I should be ok.

Well I just got the damn thing going and had some fun at the track with it (7.60@92) and its about to go back under the knife. Here are the pics of the new toys for it...........

I also have a Megasquirt setup on the kitchen table being assembled as we speak. Should be back up and running in a couple weeks.

Im gonna try! Starting on the exhaust this week. Got all the parts I need minus a set of injectors, throttle body, elbow and fuel pump/reg. So money may hold me back. Not to mention, when its done Im going to have to get it over to gearheads for a tune. Alot to do before 19th

The tranny physically bolted to the motor except for one bolt not drilled out on the LS1's, but as far as the converter I have a custom built converter in it that I got through Gilbert at Ace transmission's, a sponsor on here. A buddy had it built then sold his project so I picked it up instead. Basically its just a 350/400 converter with a crank snout extension welded onto it. Performance Tourqe Converters in Kennedale Tx built it.

The ignition box is great so far. I have heard they start breaking up at 7k rpms so Im going to have to keep an eye on that if I go that high. At that point I may just upgrade the megasquirt to take over the ignition.

Thanks for the compliments.

You have any more detailed pics of the headers? I'de like to see how they fit. I have an LS1/rx7 and I am having issues making the longtubes I'm using fit.

Thanks man

I got blockhugger on it now and will be building the turbo headers this weekend more than likely. The ones on it now are Sanderson 1 3/4" blockhuggers and they fit very good.

Lower hose is a mix of two hoses with a coupler. It was a pain and the only suggestion I have is walk the isle at your parts store and see what will work.

Couple updated pics of the turbo build.

Radiator tilted foward to make room for the hair dryer

AMS-1000 Boost controller mounted and wired up

Removed water pump and will use a remote pump for more room for the passenger side header. Driver side header done. Excuse the welds, Im still learning how to mig tube. Flat surfaces are a cake walk compared to this stuff.

Damn this thread is a little outdated. Need some new pics. Built the other header, crossover, brace for the turbo and got my wastegate mounted. Leaving now to get the 5" bends for the downpipe and after that the turbo should be done minus the short intake pipe so thats no biggie.
