You say, "sir, that is the most awesome thing I think I will ever see" And then grab your heart when you see he even put a freaking giant turbo on it. :tear: so much win in that little car.

I am shooting for 2000lbs with my Triumph Gt6. I am almost there, mostly tuning stuff and tin work in the rear to close in the gap from going from independant to narrow 9" Ford. Can't wait to get done and hit the track, and the scales.

also there is Calvin Grannis who is putting an LS1 in a 74 Triumph Tr6

Beautiful car man!

I've seen an Ultima GTR with a twin turbo'd lsx before. I think it said around 1,000 hp??! He drove by later that day (At Car Craft summer Nats) and it sounded like a stock car! It was pretty bad ***.

There is a doctor around here that has a twin turbo Ford GT making right under 1000hp. I couldn't imagine driving some of these cars... expecially that Bug at the top of the page! So awesome.

Was that difficult to do? Those look like they'd be a hell of a toy with a v8 in em

I bet this is the lightest. A lot of those are replicas with fiberglass bodies so its basically a frame and a motor with a seat.

The mini and the beetle would are prob around the same weight (tied for second)

Bringing back an old thread but I'm currently in the process of a 76 triumph spitfire lsx swap, the car weighed 1600 with a full iron 4 cylinder. I have seen gt6's and tr6's swapped with an lsx but never a spitfire. the spitfire is the same as a gt6 only difference is it's a convertible.
