NEED help with motor mounts Okay. I'm putting a 98 LS1 into my 1977 trans am. I have the factory mounts from the LS1 but the pedestals that mount to the frame are way too tall. Does anyone have any pics of a similar year model car with a LS1 conversion?

here are some pics to describe what i'm talkin about......any info at all about how to solve this problem is greatly appreciated.....once I can get the block in place I can start on the turbos......
Suggest you look at the BRP site.. they have a kit for 2nd gen F-body...
The Frame mount being cast.. most people don't use them and will switch over to SBC frame mount and Adapter plates for the engine mounts.
