I can tell you that the stock F-Body shifter location and a Bench Seat don't agree (i've been there and done that).. One of the reasons I went with a Viper configured T56.. it has a more forward location on the shifter.. other options are to use the McLeod relocation kit to move the shifter to the mid location.

Default bench seat

My car already had buckets. I moved my seat back 3" because I'm tall and the shifter is right in front of the seat. I think a cheaper rout would be to move the bench seat back far enough. If your tall enough. I will try and take pics tomarrow.

Default shifter

you can se that the shifter is right in front of the seat suds that are stiking up. I put the motor as far forward I could when I welded the motor mounts. That could make a big differance. I think wee my shifter is at you could fit a stock bench seat.

Default Tire size

[QUOTE=430 hp 70;9312165]which pump did hector put in that tank for you? thats a pretty good price if its anything over their base pump.

what size tires?

They are 275/40 r18 out back and 235/40r18 p front.
As for the fuel pump it is stock. My motor is all stock so I did not see any reason to upgrade.

If this car drives as nnice as it looks, I will sell my 90 twin turbo 300zx and make the chevelle twin turbo. I have always had tubo cars befor. we will just have to see how naturally aspirated feels when it is done.

Default It Run's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally got it started tonight. It only took 4 hours of checking the wires to the crank angle sensor. One of the wires was pintched. I knew it was something simple.

It sounds bad ***. And runs pefect. Now I just have to get the brakes and a few other little things done. Might even be driving it on monday. That is the plan any way.k

How did you fair during the storm? I saw Neosho took a shot. My wife's family still lives (lived) in Picher, OK. Spent the last few days up there. Not a pretty sight.

We usually only come up for holidays and weddings and what not, its quite a haul from Houston. Her father still lives in the area, but her mom (house is gone) will be relocating now. Not sure when we will be up that way again.

Default Its not a bad thing

Its not a bad thing. This let me biuld the car just how I want it. Plus I don't really like cars when they are all done. I get bord fast. I enjoy building them more. This one only took me seven months, so I can't wait to see what i build next year.

I will be in touch. I plan on building a 71 Chevelle SS with an LS1 or LQ4, starting sometime this fall when the weather gets cold. Beautiful car and excellent job.
