alright, traced every ground and most wires. replaced the crank sensor, tested most the important 5v and 12v ref. made sure that the 12 volt source to the pcm stays constant and the ign 12 volt stays on while your cranking. like i said the fuel pump will not trun on and there is power to both the coils and the fuel injectors but no pluse and no spark?? can you help

can I try to use a 99 camaro pcm on my 2000 5.3 just to see if my pcm is the problem??

 

The injectors and coils share a singular fuse for each side and are fused 1357, 2468 from the factory in the PDC. This is how the fbodies are set up. You never stated what this is in or what make model etc of harness, computer you are using. But, from what it sounds like the injectors and coils on each side do not have power. This is due to an incorrect or faulty power connection. The pink wire on each coil, injector will have 12v in crank and run.
