Well, I figured out, take the big 1" fitting off back of old ps pump, put on new one, reuse stock ps hoses...saved me some $.
I got the lokar 36" tranny dipstick, on directions they say use "automotive silicone" above top oring. From their website faq, I now know they mean silicone sealant...duh, I was wondering how it was going to stay put with much pressure.
Now for the lokar throttle cable...the "pedal" end of the cable has that little fitting, not sure what you call it exactly, but my pedal/cable has the small "bullets" crimped to it with a small plastic "clevis"? that clips into pedal. What have you guys done to adapt and get this to work?
My friend who is a welder came by, he is going to do some work on my tranny xmember to get it to fit the 4l80, whew, that's a relief. When that gets done, hopefully this next week, I'll put in the column shift setup. Might take me awhile to get it right, I have been doing 95% of the work by my lonesome, with a little help from my paw-in-law, when he get's bored he comes out to see what's up, and helps with what he can.
Had to buy some 1/8" brass fittings to get the oil pressure sender to fit on back of intake, I'll have that wrapped up tomorrow. I'll take some more pics this weekend.

Got my harness back from speartech today.
Will be working on finishing up fuel line, put core support back on and take care of the stock wiring, then get the harness and all it's wires in place tomorrow.

For some reason, that lokar shift linkage did not work for me, the rod was not long enough.
???
Guess I'll figure something out.

Getting things wrapped up. Just need to fill coolant/bleed air, fill p/s pump, hook up air intake, move 1 wire. And figure out wth am I going to do about shift linkage...
The Doug Thorley headers are out of the picture, sad to say. EVen with moving #5, #78 tube, the tranny linkage is obstructed beyond the use of a rod. Total bummer.
SO probably going w/ s&p headers, maybe they won't be in way.
I either need to get a longer shift "rod", of who knows, I'm no welder, maybe a longer rod could work with stock linkage.?
Anyway, My truck should be moving under it's own power by this weekend.

What about the 'cable' style shifters?

ok,
after a lot of waiting and "stuff"...it's not running yet...!
Just got the lokar linkage hooked up today, should be fine, indicator is a little off, but not bad. Got tired of waiting for the thorley headers to get "fixed", so I ordered the s&p headers.
Just about everything is done and ready to go, just gotta add coolant, put headers on(when they come in) and get some 02's.
Have not done a lot in the past week and a half, been busy. I keep forgetting to take pics...duh.
Anyway, when headers come in and I button up the small things so the tuner can come over and get it running, I'll get some more pics up.

Really like that body style, and you've done a really nice job with your swap. Is that the factory fuel tank? And is the fuel pump factory? Looks like the setup on my 92 silverado, kinda wishing the the thing would blow up so I can install a 5.3. Good luck
