I finally got the entire car painted and was able to put the engine in yesterday. The wheels are just rollers The engine is a 2002 LS1 that I retro fitted 243 (LS6) heads on and an aftermarket cam.

I just bought a set of Corvette fuel rail covers and filled the Corvette logo in and painted them the same as the car.

Wow, looking good, great attention to detail.

For those looking for custom made fuel rail covers, these folks did a nice job for me.

Specialized Stainless is a nice place too. You can use the standard fuel rail covers and buy their polished strips for $30 or so to cover up the corvette letters. You can get the strips etched to say anything you want for a little more. I see LS1 Nova strips in my future!!
I'm not sure if they're a sponsor on here or not, let's find out.

Beautiful car. I would be tempted to leave it that way so I could drink beer and look at it.

Here's some more pictures.......

Basically it's a 2002 Corvette LS6 engine with a Futral F13 and a T-56. I'm running the Stainless Works headers with knock off S&P mounts. The headers are worth every penny. They fit great. I'm running 315/35r17's in the back and 275/40r17's in the front. I also have the S&P mount for the A/C compressor. That also works great as it tucks that compressor nice and snug up against the block.

It's a 2005-2006 Corvette color called LeMans blue or PPG calls it Luxo blue.
