Default camaro gen 2 + LQ9
Hey guys i tried the search and to be honest didnt try very hard but does anyone know if there is clearence to run a truck intake on a Gen 2 camaro?That would be with a cover on it or at least the center engine piece.Any info would be appreciated.

I searched "post your convertion " searched "camaro" and get 1 thread WTF

I think it fits if you take the Vortec cover off. But I believe there is a clearance problem with the alternator.

The intake will clear without the cover or the evap solenoid. The alternator won't. This is an older picture of my car after I just got it running.

I switched to the LS6 intake so I could make the shaker functional again.

So how did you get by using the truck alt.?Any other options using the truck alt? and accessorys?
