well i just got a ls1 to throw in my 70 camaro and i thought i could just swap everything out of the totaled camaro i bought and the thing would run but im starting to think i cant do this and i have to buy a special wiring harness is this right or can i modify the 98 harnes to work in my 70 i am not a very smart guy when it comes to wiring and do i have to have a modified oil pan too. thanks for anyhelp or pointers you have for my swap i would appreciate any kind of info you have i threw some pics of the camaro's and the ls1 im swapping for the heck of it

You can use the harness you will need to do some mods to it thought to make it work.

Wiring is not that hard. Take your time and learn what the componets are and why you need to rewire etc... and it will go so much smoother. Also, 98 harness's/PCM's are wired differently that 99-02's, so don't use them.
