I would be happy to help you out...but even if I sell it for free, you are paying more money to ship it from the netherlands and customs and such. You are better off finding a harness localy.

Thanks for the tip on finding a A4 VIN, I will be asking my junkyard for that.

This may sound odd but how common are american cars over there. Are they reasonably priced as they are here or are they an exotic and high as angel *****. Anyhow, good luck on your project.

Thanks,

These cars are not exotic like an ferarri, but the are not very common either.
In summer we see a bit more oldtimers on the road, USA made, french, dutch, german, UK, etc.

the dollar vs euro is very interseting for us at the moment, 10 years ago it was the other way arround.

So it is a good time for me to buy, buy and buy US stuff, if only I had a money tree.

Peter,

You may also want to check out TwistMachine.com

They have a new package coming out.

Then you can get a paddle shifter!

Thanks, maybe later $$$$...

Yet another question, turns out my setup will work, but the corvette trans don't have a tranny dipstick. Can I add one? if so, which one?

Thanks

Peter,

The Corvettes use a transaxle that is mounted in the back of the car.

That case looks identical to the autos. Gm being gm they are usually to lazy to have a dedicated case for one vehicle. The dipstick will go in on the passenger side just below and forward of the trans cooler line inlets. It will go through the case directly into the oil pan. Look real close to see if they may have installed a knock out plug like a freeze plug into the hole to close it off.
