I dont think your going to see any more benefit from a 4" cutout then with a 3". I have mine setup with a 2 3/4" y pipe into a 3" pipe going to my muffler and I have drews t-member. Your going to have a really low point where your 3" y pipe merges underneath the car to 4".

A 3" y-pipe is gonig to be tight... Its certainly doable. What mods are you donig to the motor where you think you need 3" y-pipe? Also...are you planning on getting the headers re-worked to 3" collectors?

There isnt much reason to want to go from 2.5" collectors, to 3" y-pipe, to a 4" merge just to run a 4" cut out, then back into a 3" exhaust. You are better off just running a nice 3" exhaust all the way back. It will flow plenty good if you build it well. Im running 2.5" collectors, to a custom 2.5" y-pipe, to a 3" merge...to a 3" cat back. But my system flows well so the sizing is plenty.

however to answer your question...there is room for a 4" cut out under the passenger seat area. There is a nice spot for a cut out back there. Still gonna be super tight if you are using 3" and 4" piping though...

my headers have 3" collectors not 2.5. mods include patriot stage 2 heads, 230 ish cam, fast 90, NW 90mm tb, and of coarse the headers...
