LS2 Starts sometimes

LS2 conversion in a 68 Camaro, I got it ready and cranked and started it today. It starts sometimes and idles and runs just fine. Then cranking it the next few times it wont start it just turns over and backfires. Any ideas?

I'd check out the cam sensor wiring.

had a friend with a similar problem an an lt1, turned out to be a voltage problem JOHN

I dont know about the cam sensor, its the original harness off the motor that I had modified, so I doubt its a wiring problem.

When you say voltage do you mean voltage to the computer or??
