Installed the Prothane bushings into the clamshells and tightened them down. I test fitted them onto the Hinson subframe. They both only fit on one fork. The other fork seems to not fit either mount. I might have to file down a little bit of the metal off the prothane bushing so it will slide right in. I'm assuming it's the powder coat that caused the clearance issue. Removing a thin layer of metal from the poly mount should fix that.

MMmMmMM Yummy...

not to take away from your car because im sure it will be amazing but that kinda made me sick to see 2 brand new vettes w/ no motor and have the window sticker still on the window.

Yah I have to admit those vettes are gorgeous. They will get replacement engines built for the track. I'm assuming LS7 swaps.

Not much progress lately. T56 came in, bought a LS7 clutch and pressure plate, Fidanza C6 aluminum flywheel, GMPP Engine Controller. Other little things to make this all work. Going to paint the engine bay in a few weeks. Stay tuned!

Finally got off my *** and started on this again. Got the trans about 2-3 weeks ago. Cleaned it and painted it with Duplicolor Engine Enamel rated up to 500 degrees then shot it with a few coats of clear rated up to 500 as well. Color is Cast Iron I think... Check it out. My die grinder should be here in a few days so I can cut the firewall lip and the shifter hole. Till then....

Faded

Nice work man. I have an 05 GTO with 423 to the wheels and prior to my GTO I have a 94 FD and I'm thinking about selling the GTO to pickup a LSX FD and was wondering if you knew of any in the area selling. I remember LS1240z a long long time ago when torquecentral (or whatever that forum was called) was around and I remember that he used to build them and sell them.

I'm not sure about any local ones for sale but if I were you I'd just keep an eye open for them on http://www.v8rx7forum.com. They come and go. I don't think I've seen any for sale locally recently. I'll keep you in mind bro if I see any.
