Default Oil filter F-body pan

Anyone knows which oil filter fit the F-body pan 12558762. According to GM in sweden the AC Delco PF44 has been replaced with PF46 but that filter did not fit my pan. The diameter on the threaded holder in the center is too big
Thanks / Magnus

if the hole on the filter is too small you need a pf48. its what all the new ls based engines are going to.

When I bought a new F-body pan from GM, it came with a larger sized filter thread. I replaced it with the pice from my LQ9 pan. I think the new filter is PF-48. I use the ultraguard gold filters that is why I replaced the piece.

I had the same problem. I used a oil filter that was for a 07 trailblazer SS.

Swap the threaded fitting in the sump, for an M20x1.5 x M20x.15

Currently it is M20x1.5 in the sump itself, and 13/16" for American style oil filters, which can make them tricky to source in Europe.

I got my M20xM20 adaptor from Earls here in the UK. Now there are loads of cheap filters that fit !!!
