need help hey guys i've been having trouble a 1996 chevy 1500 truck conversion, it has a 6.0 with a 4l60 and a nelson harness, everything works pretty well but the truck takes off in second gear we already changed all the selenoids and harness inside the tranny and still nothing everything is in working condition but cant get it to work, any help is needed guys thanks
I honestly dont know much about the transmissions but i'm just tossing a few ideas out there. What type of shifter are you using? All other gears operate properly? Shifts into them fine? I had the NSBU (Nuetral safety back up) switch act up on my Duramax/Allison truck and it would start out in 2nd gear. It also would not display D on the LCD indicator but would display the other gears.

Im trying to mate a 2000 6.0 and what i think is a 1996 4L60e and it looks like the converter will not sit flush with the flexplate.
4L60e with stock converter.
6.0L with Stock Flex Plate
4L60e Converter & 6.OL Flex Plate
