Wow I can't believe I had never seen this before. Great work my friend. I would do just as you have and pimp that thing out all over the place. I think that should be submitted to Hot Rod or Car Craft, so more people who love the good old 80's movies could get to enjoy what you did.

Hats off to you, that is really cool. I like the graffitti, leave it for a while. It'd be so cool to see that car evolve. Run some nitrous or turbo. Then autocross it. It belongs on a half mile oval asphalt track too.

Need Truckster....
I am very interested in either acquiring this truckster or renting it for a particular publicity event. Would you consider? Going to try to hunt down others if not, as need is fairly immediate. How do I contact you?

Griswold's LS1 Truckster
Great work Eric!
I wrote a story about your Truckster and took some pics at the 2010 Hot Rod Power Tour - See it here at junkyardlife.com
Here is the intro-
The Griswold's Wagon Queen Family Truckster, a tribute to the station wagon made famous in the "National Lampoon's Vacation" movie, completed its third Hot Rod Power Tour this year. The car's builder, Eric Wise of Independence, Missouri, was spotted taking a break from the heat inside the modified, green 1985 Ford LTD Country Squire station wagon. ...Wise completed the Truckster in time for the 2008 Hot Rod Power Tour and posted his progress on ls1tech.com. That exposure garnered rave reviews as well as some helpful suggestions. More here at junkyardlife.com
