I talked to him real quick today. I told him that I posted pictures and he said he figured that would happen. Now that the word is out I think he should put them into production! Id take a pair!

hey CAM72ARO I'm new to this site and ran across your reply to a coil cover made from an old style valve cover RS camaro and would like to pick your brain as to how you went about your retrofit.I have the same motor and heads and a similar style project in progress. All I have done is new floorpans and tube frame sections and would like to know anything you might be willing to share to make my motor and trans install and modification a little easier.Any info would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance inspiration your car has provided me as I was getting more than a little discouraged when it came to the engine install.

I talked to my buddy tonight and he is living it up on the Power Tour so he is busy till he gets back. They are looking to put these into production soon. He will probably be registering on here soon. I will try and keep updates.

Those would definitely look killer on a carb'd motor. Especially if they were clear aluminum

I don't mean this to be rude, but have you even read through the thread?

I am sure that the original covers off a 283/327 small block are appealing to some guys wanting an original look. I saw these in Lincoln Nebraska/ Power Tour stop and thought of snaping a pic but passed at the idea.

I am going to run my LS2 with stock original covers and be proud of them.

I hate the Corvette/GTO plastic pieces that cover up the engine. For godsake these are aluminum engines, what is there to be ashamed off? They may not be as cool looking as a big block but I am not going to cover mine up with plastic junk.

Sorry about going off on this subject but these engines look good, they are different and take some time to grow on you. In 10 years no one with think twice about seeing them bare.

BTW, I think these custom covers are really neat, they are just not for me.
Nice job!

The pics of the engine & coil covers are of my 1967 Camaro . I made a new valve cover repositioning the coil packs so that I can cover them with a first gen valve cover. I cut holes in the side of the sbc cover for the plug wires to come out of. I have had alot of people interested. I am researching the different types of coil packs to see what will clear. I am also concerned about the different types of sbc covers people my use. I cannot guarantee which types of covers will clear. Thanks for all the post pro & con. I will post more info as I get it. Thanks Eric
