a/c wiring question
Tubes n Hoses (Owens Research) wouldn't sell directly to me, and referred me to a local dealer. I ended up getting my M10 fitting done by Wizard Automotive in Douglasville, GA. They're about 30 miles away so it was cheaper for me to UPS the hoses to him & back than to drive over there. I sent him my Vintage Air hoses cut/marked and ready to be crimped, and he welded an M10 port onto my discharge hose's fitting and crimped both lines. I think it cost me about $30 + shipping for the welding and crimping--not sure because he hasn't sent me a bill yet--need to call him about that

Well it has been one year and 10k miles sense I got my swap on the road. I just now got the a/c operating. Had to put a new evap in it which required pulling the fender so I have been puting it off for some time. I went the easy route using my original a/c system and controls hooked directly to the factory ls1 compressor outside the pcm using r134. It seems to be working good thus far. Today is suppose to be 100 deg and tommorrow is 103. I'll keep you posted on the results. Tented windows and new door seals will be added in the future that will greatly improve inside temps.
