I hear you man, the headers I want are 900 plus shipping, not to mention the tune and full custom exhaust. I don't even know how much I have spent on this car haha

Super clean install. I have been watching your thread and will be doing a very similar install in my '89 RS. Keep it up! Glad to see more photos.

I have the original wiring for the 91 rs and the original wiring for the 2002... I am going to tackle the wiring myself.

Cool, it's good to see that you're keeping at it, as I've been following your build. (FWIW, I should be able to "get restarted" on my own thirdgen project pretty soon, hopefully even this week!)

Feels pretty good to see some concrete progress, huh??

Yeah Definitely, I'm going to have to check yours out too! (maybe there is something you have figured out I have not come across yet, and vice versa) I can't wait to be able to go to some shows with her.

Been going slow, no cash but I have some updates

Just ordered the "Hawks" Stainless Works LS1 Swap Long Tube Headers 1 3/4" primaries, 3" collectors....
$940

But at least they are now paid for. Should have them in a couple of weeks, hopefully we can get the wiring going, I still need those weather packs.

Got the fuel lines cut and put the fittings on, just got to figure out how to connect them to the fuel rails.... (I don't have the "quick connects")

Gotta get the flex plate/Torque Converter bolts.

Will post pics the day the headers come in.

its a tight compound bend on the header. their machine prolly cant bend the tube that close at that angle.
mine is the same way.
sometimes custom headers are NEVER one tube. dont worry. all is well.

Likely its cheaper to tool for that 2 bends, then 1 big one.

The headers are top knotch peices. Im hoping ill be able to get my set in the coming months!
