Hmmnn. The OEM location of the MAF on the f bods and the Vettes, is much closer than what is suggested is causing a problem....

yes.................. and this is notan f bod motor it is a 5.3 truck motor, and therefore if you change the local of the maf the factory tuning may be affected, maybe there is something diff. all i know is it makes a diff on sensitivity on the 5.3 motors. i too (as stated) have an ls1 and it does not care how close the maf is......
