Engine dies when I stop sometimes....
Sometimes when I come to a stop or if I goose it and get out of it, the engine dies down.. I also notice that when I first crank it up it loses idle when i hit the brakes about 3-5 times. After that it idles fine brakes don't bother it. Just dies when I hit the gas and get out or either have to get on the brakes pretty good.. Has anyone ever had this problem? vacuum maybe?

Yeah got that hooked up. had it backwards at first but I fixed it. I had it to where it would recieve 12 V when pressed now its dead when pressed. hot when not. I fixed that about 3 weeks ago... I'll try the booster vaccum and see if it changes anything. Any other options you guys can think of? Thanks for the help.
on his truck (as a temporary thing just to get it running) we grabbed the throttle body boot off my ls1 (puts the maf about 4 inches awy) and stuck it on so he could take it around the block.
even in my drivey just backing up when he stopped it wanted to die. we couldnt figure it out and someone on an s10 forum told us it was too close.
im thinking yeah right like that matters? but we got an elbow and mounted the maf about 12 inches away it instantly changeg and did not want to die.

You think this could make it run rich as well? I think mine may still be a little rich...
Mine use to die to if i clutched in at 1500 rpms or higher, it would drop down and dies sometimes as i came to a stop. now it doesnt.
Mail order tunes only go so far.

I plan on getting it done local. I just hadn't found anyone local that can. Closest I've found so far is Thunder in Baton Rouge.
im not sure, this was (is still) a stock tune. we just deleated stuff we didnt need, but left the tune stock. we also deleated the rear o2's, i would guess if you had a tune done they would deleate those as well so that shouldnt make a diff.
