Default Need Help from the Wire Wizards.

I'm tossing ideas around about my project. I'm building a 72 Nova, that is going to be a street strip car. I'm putting a small block in it first, then go with a LS motor. Well all the wires in the car are shot. So I was planning on buying a whole new wiring harness from Painless or somebody. You know to replace All the wires, like lights, wiper motor, and all that. Now if I get a ls motor with the computer harness, would I have to get a whole new wiring harrnes to do the swap or what? Can anybody help me out with this? Thanks

No, you won't have to replace the wiring in the car, you'll just be adding the wiring from the engine. It's really not that hard to make the factory Ls1 harness into a stand alone harness, or there are sponsers on here that can do it for you.

The engine and car harness are separate.

Do something like an AAW Classuc Update harness to get extra circuits that you'll need to fuel pump, fans, etc.
