Default Rearview mirror
I got the rear view mirror out of the truck my motor came from and want to adapt it to my car. It is the one with the compass and ambient temp. The mirror is from a 1999 z71. Does anyone know the pinout for this mirror? also does anyone have the plug that goes in the back of it. I must have forgotten to cut it out of the truck.

check ebay there is a seller on there that makes custom gentex wiring harnesses and outside thermo. Gentex makes the mirrors with the compass and the thermo. I payed like $50ish shipped. It is a pretty straight forward install. Just run the wires for the thermo through the hole in the firewall behind the computer, find a ground and 12v accessory and call it a day.
