I Have A Ls6/z06 Going Into A 95 Z28. What Type Of Transmission Is The Best Fit? I Want To Go With A 6 Speed Manual.

Ok thanks. one more question. i have the motor but no harness. someone told me that a LS1 harness would do fine. is this true?

Dont go TH400 unless you have a bus or motorhome, or making over 1000hp. They just rob a ton of power unless you put a million dollars into them and lighten everything up. With a LS6 and that little power a stock TH350 would hold up. A hardened 2nd gear race and gear will hold alot, Mines holding 700hp. And you can upgrade the whole drum and it will hold a lot more. And you wont have that feeling like your hauling 500lbs of weight like a TH400 gives you.

would the stock tranny in my 95' LT1(AUTO) work with an LS6/Z06 or do i have to change it?

Unless you get an adapter Stall..it won't work.

I don't think the wiring will work either.
