I would hesitate at plumbing the steam vent to the suction side of the cooling system (thermostat housing neck). It would seem to me you'd be re-introducing the air you're trying to purge out right back into the block/heads.

I just ordered one of these http://www.jegs.com/i/Moroso/710/63745/10002/-1 and spliced it into the upper radiator hose. Its simple.

if i run the steam hose to the throttlebody, can i run the other throttlebody nipple to a tap off of the overflow ?

No, you will just fill up the over flow. If you are using regular radiator hoses (non-metalic) just order the part I showed earlier. Easiest solution to this problem.

Any local speed shop will have them. Even a local parts store may have them.

Check out Jags that Run. They have nice aluminum couplers just for this kind of install. Much nicer than the Moroso part.
