64 Chevelle wagon - with BRP install kit - other option is try the 1" setback mount brackets - im afraid that will then have trans tunnel issues being the early A-body -from what ive read the trans tunnel is smaller up to 67

That pan is pretty deep, perhaps some other Chevelle owners can advice you, one first gen f cars it hangs too low.

Default swap pan

seems like you have to choose the lessor of 2 evils - my son wants to airbag and drop the wagin but I dont see the $ available to do that anytime soon- that'll be on him - im supplying the wagon, eng/trans/harness so rest is up to him. I think with the BRP mounts that the LH8 pan wont be that bad - on my computer at work almost all the pics are blocked unless its one thats tiny that you click on to see- so i'll have to find time at home to look at BRP's pictures. It may be better to use the 1" setback mounts and deal with floorpan issues and no oil pan clearance issues. Damn GM for not keeping with the standard mounts and oil pan so swaps would be lots easier on us

Nevermind, found a better pic with measurements, looks like a truck pan. Too deep.

The GM swap pan is the Hummer LH8 pan which is described in the oil pan stickies.

Anyone using this pan with the stock f-body manifolds...I'm using mine for now and the dipstick tube runs into the manifolds in a couple of places. Did I somehow get the wrong dipstick and tube?
