Hmm... I know Kooks is in New York, they can make a custom set. Don't know of anything in the Southeast.
Maybe someone in Texas.
Most are going to be around $2000 for a custom set, if not more.

$337.90 about as close to long tubes as your gonna get for the money. I would call Stainless Works if you wanna custom set. My headers from them worked out great.

I know the guy up in Canada did a turbo setup with the shortys and still ran 10's.
Also, I think Current Performance is cheaper on those headers and mounts than the s10v8 website.

Is this a drag truck or street/strip or daily driver?
Nitrous will work with any exhaust but, the more flow the more HP. So 5-10hp in the lower rpm band could be alot more on the top end and with nitrous its like a snow ball effect. If you use the shorties and still want cut outs, I would put them after the trans crossmemmber. Are you going with FI or carb set up?

i have talked to him..
he said that they are running into a little hold up and he is not 100% sure when they will be released..
HE DID OFFER TO SELL ME HIS PROTO TYPE but i didn't want to be greedy and hold everyone else up

I'm running an lq9 6.0 with the shorties in my s10 im in the final stages of finishing it up now. The powertrain is done. I would have liked to gone the long tube route if jared had been a year earlier. However for a street driver mine runs really really well. I'm impressed with how driveable the truck is overall.
