Are all LS1 Starters the same?
Are all LS1 Starters the same? I thought I had an LS1 starter (looks like one) and I had it bolted to my block but when I installed the T56 it will not fit. The p/n is 12563830 and a search for that p/n does not find anything. I do believe an LS1 starter p/n is 10465385. Anyone have any idea what starter I might have? -Bob
Well, I found this and apparently answers part of my dilemma -My T56 is from an 05 GTO also - does anyone have the p/n for it? :
