I have been 12.2 at mine and nothing ever gets said. I have also seen HASTINGSRJ run in the 12's with his top down i think. That was a few years ago.

I have never run with my top down.....I never have my top up, but at the strip, it goes up...

No worries....They dont say anything to me here at Coastal when I run low 11's in my vert, but I have never asked if I could run with my top down.....I do have the only Black vert in Jville, well the only vert peroid in Jville with a cage in it.....

I havent been hasseled running in the 12s with my vert at atco (t&t nights). But I was told if I wanted to compete in any events, I'd need a 5 point bar.

Not to split hairs, but isn't the requirement a 5 point roll bar?

I just ran my car for the first time since the cam swap last week, only went 12.23, and before I could try to improve on that, they told me I couldn't run anymore without a 5-point HARNESS (I have a 4 point weld in cage), and a single layer fire jacket. I met a 601 rwhp '03 cobra convertible owner the next day at a dyno day and he has gone 11.0 traction limited with 12x-130 mph trap speeds with just a light bar and a helmet with never a word said to him

. I guess it just depends on who's there on what night

thats gay, im lookin at low 12s now with the stall, and by the time i run i might even have the heads and cam in the car, so we will see what happens. Anybody have any experience at MIR?

Do they make hardtops for F-bodys?

I just checked at Atco and was told I could got to 11:50 with a hardtop. They are about $2200 for a vette.

But for T&T nights I dont need it - just if I want to run a points race or Gambler's race.
