Default Convertible trim

My dad just picked up a '97 Formula Convertible, the prior owner replaced the top but in the process managed to lose the "Applique panel" on both sides. Getting the panels for a coupe is easy but I can't track down a part number for the convertible version. Searching gmpartdirect I was able to find every part for the top except for what I am looking for.

Anybody got a part number or know where I can get these?

Thanks!

Attached pic is exactly what we are looking for

You need a bigger pic.
I believe you mean the plastic triangle between the window and top?
That's the same exact piece on both cars.
That's why you can't find the part number for it. hehehe.
Just order one for a hard top and you'll be set. Or try and pull one. Good luck!

is not the same as the t-top one, in the convertible the whole thing is sold not only the triangle piece but the entire trim is like 80 dollars shipped for only one. Ill see if i can find the part number!

here's the part number on gm parts direct: 10286319 is for the drivers side!

Thanks guys, sorry that pic sucks as it was the best I could find at the time. Yes it is the "plastic triangle"

Yeah it is different than the coupe version(which are really cheap)

I managed to track down the part numbers, one is $71 and the other is $80 as I recall. I'll post up the part numbers when I get home from work for the next guy who needs these.

So do you have the metal triangular block but just don't have the plastic that covers it? Mine was like that and I picked up some adhesive pieces that look like carbon fiber on ebay for around $20. They look pretty good once installed. They have them sized for the coupes and verts.

Yeah it's just the covers that are missing, thanks for the tip I'll tell him about that. I'm sure he'd rather go that route than spending over $150.

I'm thinking of that thin sheet of triangle plastic that covers it up, is that not right?
Not the entire piece that fits into the car. I guess I was thinking something totally different.

Here are the part numbers

RH FILLER 10286318 MSRP $117.11
LH FILLER 10286319 MSRP $111.62

Thanks for the idea on the carbon fiber overlays dubga, my dad ended up buying a set.

Here's the car they are going on

In this pic is a good shot of the missing trim, the overlays will work perfectly with this.

Cool. I like mine. Those pics look a lot like my car. Same color, just mine's a TA.

My 2001 convertible is missing one of these. Where do you find them?

I pulled a set off of a junk hard top and trimmed them to fit. I ran into what everyone else did having to buy the whole piece.
