Default Water Puddle Rear Seat

So now after it rains, there's a huge puddle of water on the floor of the passenger seat (driver's side).

The water is muddy and brown.

I don't see any leaks at all from the top. Please help.

I don't understand what you are saying passenger seat driver's side. I can tell you that there are drain tubes located on each sde of the back side panels. Raise your top and look down inside and clean out that area, you may have to push a wire down the tube after you remove trash. You will more then likely see a puddle of water where the drain is located. Hope this helps

Muddy and brown?? Is that just because the carpet is dirty? There should not be muddy brown water coming through your top unless the tubes are just crammed full of leaves and decaying matter. Make sure to check your door seals too. No harm. You never know the source during heavy rains.

I agree with both folks above. I had one of the roof drains clog up on me (leaves) several months ago and found water in the passenger side rear seat area. Like it was said, drop the top and look inside for the drains. I'll bet you'll see standing water in there and underneath the rear seat as well as on the floor. Does take some time for all that to dry off.

Did you figure it out? I had the same problem. After putting my top down I realized that one of the tubes was not lined up with the hole, therefore the water was draining into my back seat area.

By the way, where do these tubes drain to?

BUMP for an answer!

I am still getting water behind the passenger seat. It looks like it is following the door sill from the front area to the back.

Does anyone know the drain areas on convertibles?

my vert did the same thing. It is the drain holes in the fenders a few inches back of the sail panel. Put the top halfway down and stick your hand down there and I can guarantee it is plugges up with leaves and such. Let me know if you have any questions
