sensor by spare tire?

sensor by spare tire? just looking around the other day and saw a black plug that said sensor on it, anyone know what this is? actually I was checking to see how/if the dent doctor could remove a slight door ding out, wish I could've seen the dipwad that did it, sorry for the rant.

yeah, what he said, that little black box is the sensitivity adjustment. If u crank it all the way up like me, then a fart will set it off, always impressed at how well it worked especially being stock.
That's the shock sensor for the alarm system. I believe it was originally mounted w/ double-sided tape to a nearby body brace, but usually it falls off and is left dangling (and ineffective) as you found it. Need to ty-wrap it to the body brace.
