Default Why no convertible trip posts with pics?

Just wondering why no one posts pictures and stories about their LS1 convertibles when they take trips. I did both earlier in the past year and no one commented either time. I did get some nice responses about our 'Tail of the Dragon' journey last year but that was it. It seems rather lonely here or are the 'verts getting too rare already?

Probably some of both but I would guess that some folks are not experienced in the black art of uploading and posting pictures. I sometimes upload mine to Facebook and then use their links in a posting here. Do you have a suggestion for a simple process and site for putting the pictures online?

I'd like to see it more too, and I would post one of my own but I rarely ever take it on trips. The car itself isn't big enough to carry the friends I go with so we usually take another vehicle. And with winter rolling around I'll be driving either my Saturn to the mountains for some snowboarding or one of my friends will drive. We'll see, maybe I'll get the urge to drive up to the mountains and I'll post some pics once the snow starts to fall here.

I posted a couple pics from my Tail of the Dragon trip in my vert, but I haven't taken any scenic road trips lately. I still drive my 'vert daily (or close to it), and there will be more road trips and plenty of pics in the future.

Well mine just stays on stands in the garage because people can't deliver parts.

Ours just does shows and cruise in type events, and the occasional weekend joy ride, we really don't go off traveling per say, although I'm up for anything where the air is cool and crisp. My father was big into "the Dragon" on his motorcycle and we always wanted to go there, fwiw.

OK, it is nice to hear from all of you in such a short period of time. I'll post more in the future as well but I thought I was wasting my time before. With winter soon approaching I don't expect to see too much unless you live or travel to warm weather states. Next year our current plans are to go cross country in our T/A to take in the sights and see family in Oregon. If gas hits $5 a gallon our plans may change. Keeping our fingers crossed. Also, anytime anyone wants to do the Tail of the Dragon, try to give a little notice for others to attend and we could make it a group outing. We did that with another car of ours and it was a real good time. In the meantime here are two shots of our last trip to the Tail.

Not sure which ones I've posted before, so here's a couple more pics from my trip to the Dragon... (hopefully not repeats)

I'm just not computer literate and I don't really belong to anything other than car forums and car clubs. I was lucky to figure this out. Maybe someone else can assist?

because they're enjoying the drive too much to think to stop, step out and take a picture. in any other fbody, i could see the need to step out and take in everything though.

after seeing this thread, i think i will next time though. i really don't have many pictures of my car on trips.

My wife and I cruised up to the mountains here in Colorado to see the leaves changing and got a few pictures.

It got a little chilly above 10k ft with the top down but we loved it lol.
