Hi, Looking for a source for gray sunvisors for a 99 SS convertible. Any suggestions?

I've never matched them up, but what are the differences between the Vert sun-visors and the Regular sun-visors? Since 99% of the F-bodies are T-Tops, I thought they be no different than the Vert sun-visors.

After staring at my droopy sun visors all weekend, I decided to bite the bullet and buy the premade sun visor delete plugs off of eBay, they were “on sale” for $30 shipped so I bit the bullet. Will post pics when they arrive.

Same here, installed the plugs. Quality piece and the fit is perfect.

Thanks, that looks very nice and clean, glad I bought those

Looks much nicer, IMHO. I just installed them and you don't realize how bad the visors look until you take them out.

Ronin, from what I've seen the visors are the same for the 'verts, t-tops and hardtops.

Thanks for the post Bro!

I was thinking the same thing, but with from the different posts I've read, they seem to be different in some way.

Thanks again man!

These are the visors from my convertible, top one is from the driver's side. Use that as a comparison. I don't know if the t-top and hardtop visors have a mounting tab on both sides of the visor or not.

I have a Vert as well so I have the same as what you've posted. The way some talk, there's a difference in the Vert models, but I've never noticed, but then again, I never made a point too, lol...

Thanks man!

http://www.autosunvisors.com/restoration.htm

These folks rebuilt mine and they really turned out good icluding replacing the cardboard inside. Color was perfect and they feel more robust than OE. They dont put the stupid stretchy strap on but they did reuse the vanity mirror but did have to pin it back on and the pins show but only when the flap is open.

IIRC, all for around $80 or so.

Highly reccomend these folks instead of finding junkyard visors.

That company seems to know their stuff...
Someone who does fbody upholstery told me that our cars have some kind of plastic inside and that was the reason they could not do them...?
