One drawback is that the cage requires the boot cover to be notched as seen in the pics!

^ LOL, I have not installed that cover once since I bought the car -- I am surprised anyone bothers...

My Wolfe 4-pt is on its way for delivery next week (they have a 10% off promotion right now till 6-May!) -- hope the bolt-in is not too big of a pain in the **** -- any tips for install?

Looks like it's not too bad... http://www.wolferacecraft.com/instal...odbarconv.aspx

Update: Looks like with that plate in the back it barely covers any of the rear shock holes, so fitting the Koni shock adjuster tool in there should be no issue

Not really that much cheaper unless I am missing something, looks like bare not powder coated and weld in only?
Man you will be very happy with the Wolfe roll bar, the powder coat was perfect on mine and install was simple!

Curious about how useable the back seat is with the roll bars pictured in this thread.
I have two little girls that will be riding with me.

Two little kids will fit in the back no problem with the roll bar... My wife has had to sit in the back and she fit just fine with the roll bar and she is 5'4". My brother sat in the back once to see if it would hit his head and once he sat down the bar wasn't in his way that I recall... though there was no leg room and he hit his head getting in at out. Lol

Not very usable. Atleast I wouldn't put my kids back there with all of the bars there.

Can you make these work with a RKS Speedster Tonneau?

Did anyone get the low slung swing out door bars? If so, how do you like them? Any pics?

That would require some cutting on it to make it fit in there and then it wouldn't look the same.

If you have swingouts then really the low slung is really void.

Can a rollbar be done in an oval pipe?

Hey, I know this thread is super old but where did you get your rollbar from? I've been looking for ones almost exactly like it

I think that is an RK Sport Light Bar in which case they are no longer made. You might find one on eBay or the forum classifieds. As I understand, they are only for looks. There is no safety benefit.

This is not my car but it is another example

Oh okay. I'll look around thanks. Not really looking for something that's just there to be there but it does look nice.

The way the bar mounts though would lead me to believe that it definitely helped stiffen up the chassis.
Im fairly sure all convertibles come from the factory with sub connectors.

Extra bracing that is not included in the coupes? Yes. "Factory" sub-frame connectors? NO.
