Default Weight reduction

To the guys who have shaved a few pounds off there car how low have you weighed your car in. I know we have some heavy cars to begin with but this spring I'm taking my car out and seeing where it's at then hopefully taking 200-300 lbs off and adding a nice set of heads. I'm hoping low 11s maybe even a 10.9??! I'm currently running 11.9 can and stall with a crappy tune and nitto nt05r which I did cut a 1.64 on.

I think you chose the wrong model for weight reduction, not that it's not possible... Time to find you a coupe!

Ehh I like to prove people wrong I know there was a guy on here who was around 3,000 I believe. I'm going to weigh my car soon and see where I can get it with a few things.

Don't listen to the above. You can get your car down to a good amount, but it can also depend on what you want to spend. Lightweight seats, forged wheels will cut down on rotating mass, removing sound deadening material, removing stuff like ABS/EGR, lighter sway bars, torque arm, panhard bar, etc. There's plenty on the website about it, just search.

I was just wondering what you guys are weighing in if anyone has weight reductions. My car was running 11.9 with a cam and stall and not alot of weight reduction. I currently bought race stars. I will be removing my HVAC, changing my exhaust, front / rear bumper supports, battery...

Last year I got kicked off the track for no roll cage. I did buy a set of race stars but haven't been able to launch at the track with them . I really don't want to put a cage in the car but I would like to see how close I can get to 11.5

Also I'm trying to sell my car to pay some bills off.
