Started at 47k as v6 in 2007 (first car).
Retired the v6 in 2012 at 106K miles.
Retired the car from dd duty and put Ls1 that has 61k.

A little over two weeks into the poll and only 40 votes so far. I knew 'vert owners were few and far between but this is really low thus far. No wonder this is a quiet section.
With thousands of F-body convertibles made overall, I was thinking 100 - 200 owners, at least, would visit LS1Tech once in awhile. It's still early I guess. We'll see if more participate.

A possible suggestion for a more wide spread response:

There are several fbody groups on Facebook, at least 6 or more that I know of and I am in at least 4 of these groups, my suggestion is for someone (you) to create an fbody group solely for convertible's only! The admins can control who is allowed into the group and of course the main criteria would be the car is a vert. I do not think there is one strictly for convertible's, once its created we can suggest the vert only group to other fbody group's . I think you would get many more hits in your "survey". IMHO, the vert only crowd and in fact the crowd in general on this site is constantly changing as these cars get older and owners come and go with lots of new people and a lot of others that no longer hang out here. BUT Facebook is a lot more active it seems to me, IMHO

Just my $.02

Thank you very much 99'CajunFirehawk157 and I'm sure you are 100% correct.
I don't post anywhere on the internet other than here and a few other car sites for my other cars. Yes, hard to believe, but I'm older than probably 90% of the people that belong to LS1Tech. I'm just having fun and trying to assist others when possible. Cars have been in my blood since I got my driver's license the day I turned 16. No mid-life crisis here. I've had it for decades
Thanks again!

About 83,900 on the '98 T/A. I've owned it only 3 years and put about 1,400 miles on it per year. If I would have bought it new, and put the same mileage on it per year, it would only have 21,000 miles. Oh well!

Third owner of my 96 z28 that i got with 37,000 miles on it. Snapped a rod at 66,000 while starting the car in the driveway (yes you read that correctly). Car now has 68,000 miles on it and the LS1 swapped motor has about 71,000. It was my first car at 17 and I couldnt have made a better choice.

Mine just rolled over to 124k. Bought her back in HS in '04 as my first car with 87ish on the clock. Shes not in perfect shape but I still get people thinking shes a garage queen and are shocked by the mileage.

Back TTT. One month down and two to go. 50 votes so far. No wonder this section is so quiet. I had no idea how few 'vert owners read this section.

Got the "Preemie" in 11/04 with just under 19k. Now around 125k, still modding it. Roll bar going in next week. Turning heads wherever I go. It has
seen rain less than ten times and stayed outside overnight even less than that. Another "old" guy here at 53. BTW on tech every day but usually only the western section.

I picked up my '98 TA 'vert in '04 with 60k, now has almost 114k. Was an A4, all stock with the exception of the cat-back. The car has gone through a transformation over the years, now has M6, heads/cam, exhaust, suspension, paint work, still a work in progress...

A few days left in the poll. Thanks to all who participated. It certainly indicates the numbers of convertible owners has diminished over the years. I know many owners don't post here on this site but it was still an eye opener. IMO, very low numbers for the amount of time the poll was open and also during the prime summer months.
