Question I was told that all A/M tops were cut short... *Added Video*

... is this true?

I was told that this is why we have such issues with the back window, coming unglued. Also at the edge of the top, where it runs along the top of the door glass, it should over hang just a bit so that the water doesn't just run down and off, onto where the glass meets the rubber.

Again, is this all true?

I personally have never heard that mentioned before. I've owned my car since new. No issues either, yet....

Huh... No ****... I guess I was SOMEWHAT told right.

I was just surfing Youtube and came across this video. The FIRST thing the guy talks about is exactly what I mentioned above, on how the canvas should over hand and cover the rubber and top of the glass.
