Default another year comes to a close

For us northerners, our vert driving time is quickly coming to a close. Putting on my winter rollers next week, and then its off to its storage spot, pull the battery, and put the cover on. Always such a sad time.

The season goes way too fast. We've had two topless runs recently but that's probably going to do it for this year unless we visit FL this winter.

Mine never even left the garage this year, it's still hibernating from LAST winter. Life. Yeah.

I have Veteran's Day off, which is my standard day to take it for a spin, top off the take, clean it up, change the oil, and tuck it away in the garage. So, two more weeks of usage until next year!

Yep, always goes by fast but have had many new memories.

This year replaced the entire stock suspension with after market stuff. Next year will be new exhaust, wheels/tires, and seats.

That is some low mileage. Do you use Sta-bil over the winter or something else? I personally have been a Sta-bil guy.

Yep. I put a tarp on the floor, then pull it up onto my 'Race Ramps' (real fun-not!) to prevent flat spotting . I also take the battery out so it wont freeze and crack and leak.

I plan to DD the vert with some IcePro tires on the stock wheels unless it is really snowy or icey, then the truck will get abused. I ran my last TA year round with the same 135 mile commute and only 7 or 8 days in two winters thwarted me from piloting it to work. Granted it had t-tops and not a rag, but at least this one will be going in and out of a garage while it lived on the side of the street.

OK, NOW it's officially over for us here in the mountains. Our driveway (yeah, it's there) and the view from our deck.
We are still hoping to escape to FL for a short visit but getting out is going to be the tough part.
