Default Top trying to "fall" closed

Hi all you guy's
When I close my top, when it starts closing, all is fine, then when it gets past the "vertical" it falls closed about 10 inches, and I have to catch it with my hand or it will hit the top of the windscreen.
Any ideas?????
Opening is fine, no probs.

I'm thinking that's normal? Maybe busted springs or something though.

That doesn't sound normal to me. Mine closes smooth and steady all the way. I have to pull it down the last 1/2 inch.

If it's happening to you, it must be happening to others. Good luck.

Mine gathers a loada' speed when past the vertical.
Im'e sure when I got it, it was smooth all the way, and like you said, pull it the last half inch.
BTW, I still have to pull it the last half inch to get to closed
Any more ideas ??????

The reason why all of your tops are falling is because there is air in your hydraulic lines.

Mine does that same thing as yours. I've noticed over the years it drops a little farther after the vertical point than it did when I got it.
