ROLL cage thing! Im about to buy a 02 ss vert, and i have a question, my first mod will be a 4 point cage, but I'm very tall 6'9" and i cant drive the car unless the seat is all the way back and down, and slightly reclined... the center bar in the cage prohibits that, i sat in my buddys 35th anniversary with a cage and it just didnt work, my legs were wrapped around my neck... any ideas anyone, either a different kind of cage, or maybe setting it back farther or something, let me know, thanks!

lol, its okay, im buyin a chevy! wow i cant believe i typed that, im a ford guy buyin an ss vert. heh im open to buying any kind of cage that allows me to fit in the car i just want some kind of protection, makes the car look so much better...

just looked at that wolfe setup. looks good, looks like thats what im going with. anyone know the rules on the center crossbar at the dragstrip, at what 1/4 time does the centerbar need to be installed?

The written rule requires a 6pt. cage for modified convertible cars running 13.49 or faster. It allows side bar swing-outs but technically no removable rear bar. But I think most tracks will let you slide on that (some well placed padding will cover it up).
