I used one alllllllllll the time on a 328. It really does make a difference. You can listen to your music at a lower volume on the highway, a girl's hair won't go as crazy, and it keeps the seatbelts from flapping like mad.

Plus, if you never take it out, then you have an excuse for not driving other people in your car.

And if you have a young child, they can sit under it and not be whining about the wind blowing on them.

I like mine. It's not like a "must have", but I think it looks & works pretty good.

Around town, I leave it folded down. Even folded, it cuts down on the turbulence. It also covers the back seat from prying eyes and keeps stuff from getting sucked out at higher speeds.

On the highway at 70+ I flip it up. I don't know about you, but I can only do topless expressway for a little while... an hour tops. With the Windstop, I only worry about sunburns.

what i don't like about this windscreen is that it helps defeat the purpose of the open air feeling driving in a convertible.

it's almost like a T-Top or a Targa car with this windscreen because it gives you an enclosed feeling. even with a stylebar, you lose a little of this feeling.

going from a Fox 5.0 convertible to a TA, i definitely felt a loss in this open air feeling due to the huge sloping windshield of the LS1. obviously the TA is much more advanced as a ponycar in everyway vs the 5.0, but it's just more fun with the 5.0 topless.

if you're going to sacrifice ridgity, weight, etc. by getting a convertible over a hardtop or even T-top, why get this thing?

Hugger,
Nice vert! But I didn't see any pictures of the windstop... did I miss it? I have mine own, but others might be interested in a picture.

By the way everyone, the one on Ebay went for $152.50 + $20ship.

Thanks...

The links show a couple pics on my car with the windstop. prolly not the best illustration but that's all I had. I've got a taker at a "c" note but if he doesn't come through I'll put it out on e-bay.

I talked to Deanne at afterthoughtsauto, she will sell them for about that price to members here, just call her and tell her Robert sent you.

I love mine, and this is a great price on a quality product.

Duh! I see 'em now. Not especially good shots of them, but they're there.
And like you said, there's also the car in the background at the car show(?)
Looks like those Windstops are pretty popular at the show.

I don't have any good pictures of mine, but here's one with it folded down...

Not a huge fan of them. While they work it really takes away from the car to see that thing up. I would def. use one on long trips but I like the wind blow around me...some chick wants to bitch about her hair...she shouldn't of gotten in the car

Here are a few pics of it up on my car. I really love mine. I thought I would just use it for long trips too, but I leave it on all the time now. I like the fact that even with it up, it does not hinder the top operation.

I highly recommend this product, even if you don't use it everytime out. I comes in a nice canvas storage bag also.

I disagree...it breaks up the vert boat look
