Just picked up another droptop.
This ones the first Camaro Ive owned(other than parts cars).
Ive owned lots of Firebirds, still have 4 of them.
This car matches my Firebird,red/ black top. I also have a first gen that same combo.
Now I just need to figure out what drivetrain to go with.

[QUOTE=Boodyrider;7941773]IMPORTANT NOTE: 95-02 tops are the same. 94 had a recall, which made them the same as 95+; if your car had the recall, you're good. If not, it may be unique and unavailable from any source; get the recall done. 93 tops are like the 82-93 ones.

Paul,do you have any more info on that 94 only top recall?
I ve spent the last hour on the phone to 2 local dealers and then Chev/GM main office and got nowhere.
Im guessing that the data base doesnt go that far back?
I got a carfax and it doesnt list any recalls outstanding.
Thanks in advance for your help,it would be great to have a new top under "warranty".

I've owned my 94 since new in 94 and this is the first I've ever heard of a recall on tops. Never anything from my Chevy dealer, and I heard from them for years.

I did have a bolt fall out of my top back in '98 or so, and the top collapsed (one of the main hinge bolts). I put a new bolt in and all was fine. I'm still on the original top.

I'd also like to know if there's any truth to this rumor of a recall.

Then again, he also posted:

93 tops are like the 82-93 ones.
There was no 93 Convertible.

I do know that 94 was the only year that had a bowtie in the headliner though.

No, I recently had a SERIOUS issue with my car. I'll take some pics if, and when I get it back.

I looked up the recall info and nothing is on tops
I see alot of TSBs on tops tho.
Would still like Paul to respond on this.
As far as 93s,yes same as 82-92 done as a conversion, not by the factory.
