Default Too Dark in There..

I was thinking about what to use as far as adding more interior lighting in my convertible especially onto the floorboard areas. I would like to pirate some underdash lamps from a older car and hide the light fixtures or at least make it look "factory". Has anyone already done something to brighten things up in inside of their car?

I had looked into something like that and thought it would be better to have the light non LED so I wouldn't have to convert everything else to match.

10 bucks. I went to a local salvage yard and pulled the underdash lamp fixtures out of a early nineties blazer. I already had the wires and connectors at the house.

That does look good! It's weird that they didn't put a little extra light in the verts to make up for the lack of dome light.

For chuckles... I put a couple 4inch cathodes in for $10. Nice blue glow, but not a lot of real light...

Roadhouse,

That looks great! Do you think you could snap a couple pictures of where you mounted the lights? I've been thinking about doing something along these lines, so I'd like to see where you mounted yours.

Thanks.

Under Driver's Dash

Under Pass. Dash

There's probably alot of ways to do this. I wonder why I haven't done it sooner.
