Default Sun Visors......

Help me here guys, I want to remove the Sun Visors, but I don't want hole in the liner where they attach. So, what do we have to replace, or fill the area where they are removed. They just get in the way. Too Tall.

Stupid question, how did the mounting plate come off the visor? Its probibly very easy once I take the visor off, but thought I would ask. Thanks

Have you looked into possibly recovering the Header panel, or whatever the piece is called, in a grained material similar to what's on the doors? Then you'll have a finished look instead of just the bracket sticking out. (No offense Dustin) That is something I'm thinking of doing to the piece and visors in mine.

Actually you have to cut the visor off, which most wouldnt want to do. And as for looks I could care less, it looks clean but I wouldnt spend the dough to have it upholstered,

Thanks guys. I may look into some from a junk yard and cut them up. Then I don't have to worry about cutting mine up.

I also like the idea of a plastic panel acroos the top. To bad no sponsors make one.

I would like to remove mine as well and was thinking about getting some wrecking yard ones, cutting the shafts out and on the driver's side, putting a shift light in the center. Not sure where I would get the circuitry to operate it but that is another problem..

I have mine off since one broke off. Yeah just put the mounting bracket back on after you take some pliers to the bent metal behind the spring. The visor will then separate from the mounting plate.
