Why Do Chicks Dig Convertibles

When I was a young single guy, cruising around in the 94Z (back in '95)....
Went to game night with our singles group at church. This chick wanted to ride with me, "to ride in the convertible" (her words). When I went to put the top down, she said no because it would mess up her hair. Confused the heck outta me. I didn't understand. Why would you want to ride in the convertible, but not want to put the top down?
I married her a year later. I still don't understand her all the time tho.

I thought I would turn to my wife for her input. As much as she appreciated your input "Beer99C5", she thinks that they're just cool to be seen in.
As much as I hate to admit it, they probably like them for the same reasons we do.

I wanted a vert because I wanted to ride with the top down, gives you the feeling of freedom and they look cool. My husband bought me my TA last week for my birthday (such a great husband) and I have had the top down every day and washed her twice and gave her a full detail the other night. There is no senses have a vert if you don't put the top down...

If you have to ask why you don't deserve a convert.
My lady says she loves her Z-convert. because with the LT's, no cats, & hollywood glass pac's & a 6-speed is the closest you can get to my Harley with long straight pipes. We like to rack -um under bridges & make cattle stampede & horses jump up & buck when we thunder by them ! SALUTE !

verts are just plain cool imo, always have been and probably always will be. Not to mention the perks of owning one...I was asked to drive mine in the homecoming parade at school.
Plus hammering it coming off of an on-ramp under a nice wide overpass with cam, LT's, Hooker catback, and the top down is so much fun.
