watcha think? first off my dad just got a new vert..its a 98 z28 A4 109,000 miles pewter, but really in good shape for waht it is. he payed $4,000!! anyways i thought that was a really good deal. we are taking it to the local 1/8th mile this friday what do you think it will run bonestock? the only thing were thinking about doing is some weight reduction, but what can we do on a vert? spare tire...then what?
i took out the a/c air pump and back seats, but added a heavy *** th400 tranny and 6 point cage which kinda cancled out the weight reduction and the car weighed in at 3486 without driver. try and weigh the car itll give you an idea if weigh reduction is even that neccesarry.
could it be sebring silver? how bright is the silver?

im not sure...it was sitting next to a pewter 02 z28(i knwo for a fact this was pewter) and they looke almost identical(atleast i thought) it was common consesnsus it was pewter....

update...the car ran a 9.01 @ 79mph ot fast but respectabe, that run we ran against an 05 gt 5 speed and beet it by 4.5 tenths 
and no it wasnt having hardly any traction problems

yea for one thing the first i do wont be a ls6 intake, but also a 9.01 really isnt that bad considering it is a 98 with 110,000 miles auto matic to boot....i went 8.37 with a lid on my 01 M6...but that a hole diferent car..
