Default top fading

Hey, My top is the black hartz stayfast cloth. It has been fading for some time now as I know most of them do when they are daily driven but I was wondering if there's a fix besides replacing it, it still has some life in it. Has anyone ever used or heard of a company called Renovo. They sell some kind of dye to recolor the top. I've used ragtop and their wash and protectant is great, but i really want to get rid of the grey patches on it , It just looks bad. Suggestions?

Thanks!

People talk about dying their top all the time but no one ever follows through...so if you were to dye it would you have to take if off to dye it or leave it on the car? If you do have to take it off then replace it....because its probably streched a little and worn.

Apparently you leave the top on, and mask off the surfaces you don't want dye on. I just took the slack out of it today following the sticky and it worked great. Now i'd just like to get the faded spots out.

Just hop on down to your nearest auto zone/pep boys/advance auto store & look in the paint dept. for the fabric spray paint. Got a faded black top ? Presto, looks like new again. Price ? About $ 5 bucks. Problem solved !

Paint it you say, It sounds easy but I'm feeling pretty skeptical. I take it you've done this before? Pictures?
