I guys kinda new here,Bought an asc camaro conv theres no dash plate or special seral numbers.It does have ASC on the dash and some# on the bows of the top and 2/17/86 date.i'd just like to know how many 86conv where made?or a # or email to someone that could help me.I was told by a guy that used to work at ASC that apx 100 R&D cars where made and 190-210 limted
ed cars in 86.Help please i would like to put the history of this car back together will post pics soon

Its very hard to say I don't know if anybody besides asc knows how many exactly were made. They are very rare and were sort of a custom car. Sort of like the Ford GT that a company converted from a fixed roof coupe to a removable top car. I'd contact asc (if they are still in business) to see if they know. Maybe a more knowledgable person knows the answer but thats all I know about the car. Hope that helps!
